  • THE GOLDEN MASK – artistic award of the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship – category: “DIRECTING” for Waldemar Zawodziński & DON CARLOS;
  • The Jan  Kiepura Theatre Musical Award in the category “Best Performance of the year 2011”  for DON CARLOS;
  • CRISTAL SUPER OCHMAN – the Award of the Auxilium Foundation in Zawiercie for the Sielsian Opera;
  • BRAND – SILESIA in the category of “Culture”, prize of the 3rd edition of the competition organized by the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Gliwice and the Marshal Office of the Silesian Voivodeship;
  • The Award of the Promotional Emblem – THE ICON OF SILESIA 2011;
  • THE MUSE – the award of the Mayor of Bytom in the field of culture for Aleksandra Kozimala-Kliś;

  • DIPLOMA FOR THE SILESIAN OPERA for outstanding achievements in  preserving the heritage of Fryderyk Chopin, the great composer whose success is the foundation of Polish culture, on the occasion of the 200 anniversary of his birth;
  • The Jan  Kiepura Theatre Musical Award in the category of “The Best Female Singer” for Renata Dobosz;
  • The Jan  Kiepura Theatre Musical Award in the category of “The Best Male Singer” for Maciej Komandera;

YEAR 2010 

  • THE PEARL OF SILESIA AWARD – for Tadeusz Serafin on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of foundation of Śląsk Monthly, a social and cultural magazine;
  • THE PLANINIUM LAUREL OF SKILLS AND COMPETENCE for the Silesian Opera and for Tadeusz Serafin in the category “The Ambassador of Polish Matters” for distinguished achievements in representing Poland in Europe worldwide;
  • THE GOLDEN MASK – the artistic award of the Marshal of the Sielsian Voivodeship in the category “Special Award” for Henryk Konwiński for stage production and choreography of ROMEO AND JULIET on the stage of the Silesian Opera
